Creating a book is a collaborative process. This section offers a directory of authors, editors, and illustrators who can support you at every stage of development—from refining your story idea to preparing a polished, publication-ready manuscript. These professionals have submitted their information to be included here. Please note that Kreyòl and Beyond does not vet contributors; be sure to review portfolios and experience to find the right partner for your project.

Kreyòl and Beyond is a multilingual Haitian book collective made up of authors, educators, and advocates who believe in the power of storytelling especially via Haitian Creole to preserve culture and inspire learning.

 

Our focus includes all the creative ways books teach and inspire children—from early concept books and illustrated stories to informational texts and classic children’s literature formats.

Together, we are building a movement to ensure Haitian stories are not only told—but cherished, studied, and passed on.
